Meet Greg

Greg's consulting experience over the past 17 years focuses on utility energy efficiency and demand response program evaluation, market research activities, and coordination, support and implementation of field activities. He has evaluated numerous programs for utility and non-utility clients and has extensive experience in survey design and delivery for utility clients spanning eleven years. In addition to conducting on-line focus groups, on-line participant surveys, and in-depth interviews of utility staff, trade allies, market actors and customers alike, Greg also has delved deeply into all aspects of business management including operations management, financial analysis, information technology, and human resources.

Field Operations Management 

Greg has over 12 years experience managing, maintaining, and coordinating an extensive variety of specialized measurement and verification equipment deployed during numerous field studies. He is specialized in field safety protocols and has developed Injury and Illness Prevention Plans (IIPPs) for use by field staff supporting the commitment to safety of every employee while doing field work. 

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) 

Greg has worked with clients in the energy industry to improve market intervention strategies, maximize the value in investments in renewables and energy efficiency, and better understand markets though advanced spatial techniques. He has produced numerous maps of energy efficiency program data to enable project managers and clients to graphically visualize activity within their programs. Additionally, Greg has created maps for use in sample stratification based on factors such as climate zone, geographic region or program specific information.

Experience Highlight

Energy Management Pennsylvania Act 129 Phase III

Greg supported PECO in its Evaluation, Measurement and Verification (EM&V) activities for more than ten years, serving as the program evaluation lead overseeing the impact and process evaluation activities for numerous energy efficiency programs and managed all facets of PECO’s utility program evaluation including budgeting and cost tracking, staff and subcontractor management, client relationships and reporting, and presentation activities.
